Inspired Vision Leadership

Dear Families of Inspired Vision,

I want to take a moment to introduce myself; I look forward to meeting you all face-to-face in the days to come.

Experience: This is the beginning of my 18th year in public education. I started my career in 2001, teaching at Inspired Vision Elementary, then went on to teach at Inspired Vision Secondary. In 2004, I returned to Inspired Vision Elementary as a Literacy Coach, then in 2008, I went on to serve as an assistant principal at A+ Secondary. In 2012, my wife and I moved to Oklahoma to obtain post-graduate degrees. While in Oklahoma, once again, I entered a district as an elementary teacher, then went on to become an elementary and a secondary assistant principal. Now in 2019, I am super excited to return to Inspired Vision to serve the students and community where I began my career.

Education: Diploma (Skyline High School) B.A. in Biblical Literature (Oral Roberts University, Oklahoma); M.S. in Reading (Texas A&M University-Commerce,Texas); Ed.S. in Educational Leadership (Liberty University, Virginia).

Favorite things to do: I love being in the classroom with teachers and students. I love being at home with my family and reading a good book. I love taking yearly trips to Africa with my wife. My favorite snacks are Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and lightly buttered popcorn. Life is so full of great things that it would be hard to choose just one!

Vision: I have a vision that sees our scholars soaring to the height of their academic and social potential. This is going to take a lot of dedication from all stakeholders. It will take the combined effort of our leadership, parents, and teachers to support our students. I want to say a big “thank you” in advanced for the role that you will play. With the five core values of team, excellence, joy, equity, and character, I believe that we will see the results of our “inspired vision.”
